My husband and I moved here in 10/21 a cancer patient at [name removed] in Tampa, he lost his 2 yr battle with cancer 7/22. I don't have a complaint, I like the park, people, I have great neighbors, it's just me and my dog Lucky, I clean up after hm, I find myself cleaning up behind other dogs too. My question, October it will be a second rent increase for me in 9 months, because I am listed as living on a standard oversized corner lot, I don't live on corner, my lot is small i only have a small carport as compared to my neighbors on both sides of me have a driveway a tractor trailer could park in. With my husband deceased your headquarters send down the increase in lots are making it stressful, I love it here everyone in the office has been very helpful, office has to comply with the rent increases, please explain to me why living on lot 2A park constitute a property hike again. Try providing butt cans along the walk for the smokers, post a sign to use, the grounds look untidy

Management
I love the mobile home I’m in! But management is terrible unfortunately! If she spent as much time making sure the park was clean and the services being rendered were adequate! Less time socializing and driving around!

Truthful
Been in Crosswinds 8 yrs and park has gone downhill, they try hard but to no evail, the park enforces rules as it suits them, we have a lot of vicious breed dogs , Doberman’s, pitbulls but rules say no aggressive breeds, no rentals but at least ten are rented now and management doesn’t care, also no parking on empty lots but every night people park were ever they like, it’s not a fun park anymore and is going down hill slowly, it’s a shame but management does not enforce any rules and the quality of people you see tells the whole story, some trailer property’s are a an absolute mess, sorry but I call it the way I see it

Money Hungry Owners.renting to low lifes
Too many low lifes allowed to rent from managment while home owners are forbiden from renting their units. The laundry room has a very nasty smell in there. Managment is interested in appearances and selling HUGE UGLY NEW HOMES that are completely too big and out of place there. Mom's rent goes up by 50.00+ every year.

Good as any...
Nice park. Kept up pretty well - seen much worse. Rules do need to be enforced not just for the homeowner maintaining their homes but for other infractions as stated in other reviews. Lot rent is pretty normal for the area and the amenities offers (we would all like cheaper). There are certain people that just can't get along and cause problems all the time and management should look at having them banned or removed from the property instead of the good, decent folks looking for other places to live. Can beat the location to shopping and beach.

Great Place for injuries
Not good , since new owners a lot of low life trouble makers , park has no management after 6pm , just walked my dog and near got run over , speeders, drunks and whatever, park were ever you want and do what ever you want after 6, been here 8 yrs and cant believe how downhill the park has gone , no one enforces rules, what a joke. I wont be here long and definitely wouldn’t want my parents living here, partying and cops every night

Money grab
Another week at Crosswinds , cops here 3 times on St Patricks day for domestics , pool heater broken for months, air conditioning broken in rec hall and still not fixed in over 6 weeks as they cant get parts, supposedly . Pet friendly and you can tell that by the dog poop everywhere as scoop and poop law not enforced, barking dogs everywhere and nothing done , no rentals but about ten units rented as management hasn’t got a clue , great park until Lakeshore took over and now its a joke.

Another night in Crosswinds
Lived here for 8 yrs and was a quiet park until new owners took over , just another night in Crosswinds dogs barking , loud party’s on row 7 and people on the corner arguing and screaming at each other again [language removed] this and [language removed] that , guess the cops will be here again tonight , pretty normal now for Crosswinds. What a lovely place to retire , NOT.

Intetested in buying??Ask yearly owners.
Well , first we just got bought out ?? To soon to tell ? Lot rent going up but still affordable on a fixed income. Some Canadians are selling do to monthly fees. (Those who owned property) and sold ! Now have to pay the same as lot renters. I believe lot rent on single wide is $550 which is nice for this area! Down side no maint. People so kinda falling down there . The maint . people where half way through a clean up project on my lot , and now the mess just sits. Lawn service is worse than ever :( Its fair to say they just took over , and I think 6months should shake it out to see what its gonna be. 2 years here and love it . So I will see what happens. Good area so close to everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Crosswinds Mobile Home Park

A Place for Mom has scored Crosswinds Mobile Home Park 6.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
