My name is [name removed]. My Grandmother, [name removed], moved into the Watermark within the past year, and she wanted me to write a letter to you on her behalf. For as long as I have been alive, she has lived in the same house. But it wasn’t always like that. She moved around a lot in her life—she came from Ireland when she was 18. That being said, this most recent move wasn’t necessarily easy. She grew to love her house in Fairfield, and she had a sort of independence there. When she first moved to the Watermark, she told me that she was very sad. She was homesick. It wasn’t easy, she missed her old way of life, and that’s understandable for anyone, let alone someone in their 90s. Luckily, that feeling didn’t last for long. My grandmother wants me to make it clear to you, that the environment that you all create at the Watermark is special. After our father passed away last February we began to investigate what the Watermark could offer our mother. She was 79 at the time and could not manage, nor did she need, the house in the suburbs where she raised a family. Moving to the Watermark has been a wonderful experience for our Mom, and also gives us all a piece of mind. The staff at the Watermark were very helpful, patient, kind, and compassionate regarding the moving process which was very emotional for Mom. Also, the Watermark provided a lot of assistance with the complex logistical efforts to make the transition. Since moving to the Watermark, Mom enjoys a very active social life, is involved in the many activities, and is fully engaged. The amenities and activities offered by the Watermark cater to a wide range of preferences. The Watermark is a great home for Mom, we are so glad she moved there. She is really thriving.

We toured Rockland Place when searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was great! Our tour was very good. The cleanliness, friendliness, atmosphere, and our tour guide were all great.

The staff and the residents at The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights are all friendly, kind, competent and generous. The neighborhood that this facility is in is fantastic. I would recommend Watermark without any hesitation.

The moment you arrive at Sagebrook you are greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. The facility is clean and well staffed. The assistants are friendly and do what they can to make Sagebrook a pleasant and comforting stay for residents. Sagebrook engages it's residents in many activities including handiwork, concerts and very special holiday celebration meals. Speaking of which, Sagebrook offers three delicious meals each day. I feel lucky that my uncle has chosen Sagebrook as his assisted living facility. Highly recommended!

The Cottages of Carmel is truly an outstanding residential community for elders seeking assistive care. The entire staff is exceptional - kind, compassionate, skillful, and respectful. Many associates are long-standing employees with a wealth of experience in making life easier, safer, fulfilling, and more dignified for residents. My father has resided happily in an assisted living studio since [date removed]. His unit is bright, quiet, and comfortable with high ceilings, a fireplace, and a welcoming patio. He raves about quality and presentation of meals, attentive dining room staff, scenic afternoon drives, and elaborate holiday dinners. Recent renovations elevate the entire community to the highest standards with inspiring art and inviting areas for group activities and conversations with other residents. Most importantly, my father has thrived and remained COVID-free during his entire residency, thanks to Watermark’s industry-leading safety protocols.

My experience with The Cottages of Carmel, Carmel CA: Caring staff. Appreciate that there are high level staff who are nurses who work on site. Med tech’s are responsive and helpful. So are managers, caregivers and activities staff. The facility is clean. In fact just doing some renovations that increase the sparkle features. Food is very good and tasty. Communication is open with family and those who assist the resident. Good light throughout the facility. Safety is a high level concern for the residents.

We toured the facility with [name removed] (Sales Director) and [name removed] (Executive Director) who were extremely warm and loving with our mom. Being greeted by the smell of fresh baked cookies in the lobby had me hooked right away. But touring all of areas and being able to talk to some of the staff and concierge gave my mom more assurance of what is ahead. Gina even invited to us to have lunch to feel the atmosphere and taste the great food that is provided! We loved it!! Hopefully we can make it happen for my mom.

My parents feel very happy here, and my sister and I feel very grateful to have them surrounded by such a supportive team. [name removed] made us all feel supported and welcome from the first time we met her. Also the Cottages are beautifully maintained. The Cottages is a first rate elder care home, my family is very grateful to have their support.

I’ve had wonderful experiences with the staff and working alongside them to come up with mutual decision on behalf of my family members. Working with a solid care team takes the worry out of who my loved ones will be with. Thank you!

In looking for an assisted living facility for our mother, my sister and I visited a number of places in and around San Francisco before deciding on Sagebrook. We liked the size of the community, the cleanliness, the brightness of the interior, the lovely courtyard, and the friendliness of the staff. In the several months that she has been living there, our mother has benefitted from the very respectful, considerate and conscientious staff. When it came time to move Mom to the memory care wing, the staff and administration made the transition as smooth and easy as possible. Now she appears to be doing better than I’ve seen in a long time. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and the whole staff — too many to name; I don’t want to leave anyone out! — are taking good care of Mom, which is a relief to me and my family. I would recommend Sagebrook Senior Living to my friends who are considering an assisted living facility for a loved one.

Can’t say enough about how great sagebrook has been for my grandpa. The staff are so loving and supportive. The programs and opportunities they offer create the best environment. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I work in the elderly care industry and toured many places in San Francisco, I can confidently say Sagebrook was and is the best fit! My in-laws have been living at Sagebrook for a month. They've enjoyed many of the activities that are offered, such as the morning exercise program and flower arranging. My husband and I attended the Mother's Day brunch, which was lovely, followed by a piano concert. We feel that it's a safe and caring environment. We had an easy move-in process and have found all of the staff to be helpful and attentive.

My mother moved into Legacy at Clover Blossom in [date removed]; we attended their “Taste of Legacy” event on [date removed]. What an impressive, organized, and fun-filled event for all! The food (from all 9 Legacy facilities) was absolutely delicious, the raffle gift baskets and Jazz Band delightful, and hospitality from all Legacy staff, professional and family friendly. We look forward to this and other Legacy events in the future and send our sincere thanks for a lovely evening!

Our father has been a resident at Rose Tree Place for the last couple of months. We toured several care facilities before making our final decision. We chose Rose Tree Place because of the proximity to family, the cleanliness of the facility, the type of apartment, availability of services, and the incredible staff. From the minute we walked in and was greeted by [name removed] and [name removed], we knew this was a place that cared about their residents. The staff knows all the residents by name and takes the time to communicate and laugh with them on a daily basis. [name removed] and the medical staff are great at communicating medical updates. We love that Dad gets treated by the in house doctors. Karen does a great job with activities and the restaurant has very good food and yummy desserts. Rose Tree Place is the best!

Legacy at Maiden Park has been wonderful for Mom. The assisted living staff do a great job from providing reminders, serving food Mom likes, and providing a wide variety of activities. Plus they support Catholics with a relationship with St Charles with a short service on Thursdays and an opportunity to get Communion. Also the Televised masses are usually up in the common area on Sunday. Bingo, arts and crafts and music and videos are also a big hit with Mom. The staff recognizes the residents have good days and bad but no matter what they are cheerful, helpful and caring. The concierge at the front desk is always helpful and greets everyone with smile.

This community is truly a wonderful place. The staff and services provided here are are great and the atmosphere is good. The staff are also friendly and caring. They always go out of their way to help you.

My mom has been at Watermark 10 years. She is very comfortable in her spacious apartment and happy with the services. Most of all she has made good friends and participates in stimulating activities. The staff is always available and responsive. She enjoys the meals and social activities. I am very glad she is so well attended to at The Watermark.
